Tylenol dose should be reduced to prevent liver risks, FDA advisers say

Johnson & Johnson’s 50-year-old painkiller Tylenol should have lower doses to prevent liver injury, a U.S. panel said. They voted to lower the single adult dose to 650 milligrams, or two regular strength tablets, from 1,000 milligrams, or two extra-strength tablets.
