Traveling with Pets: Airlines With the Most Dog Deaths - ABC News

Planning to fly with your dog this summer? Well, you might want to think twice before putting Buddy, Daisy or Rocky under the plane. In the last four and half years, U.S. airlines killed, injured or lost 224 dogs according to the Department of Transportation. While that is a tiny percentage of the thousands of dogs that fly each month, try telling that to nine-year-old Timmy who just lost his beloved golden retriever.
