Switching from NPH to Lantus or Levemir - TuDiabetes

I'm on the Pump. but if it failed or if I decided to take a Pump Vacation, I would have to go back to MDI. When I was on NPH, it was a horror show. Has anybody switched from NPH to Lantus or Levemir? I would like to hear your experiences. How did you tackle the Dawn Phenomenon? How did you split your doses if you took 2 jabs of long-acting per day?
