Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Center , located in Greenwich Village in Manhattan, is one of the city's oldest hospitals. It has had a rich tradition treating New Yorkers in need despite their ability to pay for services. It treated those affected by the Cholera epidemic in 1849, survivors from the sunken Titanic, and victims of the 9/11 attacks.
