skinandlasers.com — “I had sclerotherapy in the past to remove some spider veins. I've since developed new ones and would like to know if there are any other, gentler treatments available. Spider veins generally are an ongoing issue that requires periodic treatment. We use sclerotherapy as well as external and internal (endovenous) lasers to treat various sized leg vessels. ” View full resource at skinandlasers.com

After completing his medical degree at Georgetown University, Richman moved
to his native home of Los Angeles to complete his general surgery residency at
the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine. He then
completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery at Jackson
Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami.
Having performed nearly 1,000 cardiac bypass procedures throughout his
career, Richman has always maintained a strong interest in the preventative
aspect of cardiac care, namely cholesterol (lipid) management. As a
long-standing member of the National Lipid Association, Richman started The
Center for Cholesterol Management in August 2005 in order to focus exclusively
on preventative care and management for those who may be at risk for heart
disease.
The Center for Cholesterol Management provides state-of-the-art diagnosis
and treatment for patients with lipid disorders. This multi-disciplinary team
approach to lipid treatment comprises the efforts of physicians, nurses,
dietitians, and physical therapists to offer preventative and management care
for patients with high cholesterol, heart disease and those at risk for
developing coronary artery disease." /> Michael Richman, MD, FACS, FCCP Physician, Active Health Library, Doctor, and Surgeon
