My husband has been having low readings on his sodium levels since he has been on Trileptal. This med is known to bring down these levels. He has been on this med for 3 1/2 years. He is also on Primidone but has been weaning off of this for over 18 months now. He is doing that VERY slowly and hasn't had any problems.
