According to a groundbreaking JAMA survey, stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is the most common form of urinary incontinence worldwide among women, disrupting the daily lives of the women it affects. The survey dispels the perception of SUI as an older women's disorder, reporting instead that 37% of women aged 35 and 54 experience SUI symptoms--nearly the same percentage as those over 55. Almost one-fifth of respondents indicated they'd experienced symptoms before age 29.
