North Carolina Requires Health Plans To Cover Hearing Aids For Children | Gov Monitor
Governor Bev Perdue today signed House Bill 589 into law, requiring health plans to cover hearing aids for young people through the age 21. During the signing ceremony, Gov. Perdue was joined by third-grader Collin Tastet, 9, and other young advocates who made headlines by successfully lobbying the General Assembly.
