Inspired by how much their son, Genre, was calmer and happier by playing his Nintendo DS throughout numerous days in the hospital, his family and friends launched Genre's Kids With Cancer Fund. The nonprofit foundation provides Nintendo DS gaming systems and games for children undergoing chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.
