uofmhealth.org — “The number of physicians who specialize in caring for kids with diabetes and obese kids at risk for the disease is not keeping pace with demand for care, say reserachers at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. In a new study, they found that for every 290 children with diabetes, there is only one board-certified pediatric endocrinologist available to care for them.
