Mylan gets tentative FDA OK for generic Singulair - MarketWatch

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Mylan Inc. said Friday that it has received tentative approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its abbreviated new drug application for a generic version of Merck & Co.'s Singulair. Mylan said that the same strength of Singular, an allergy and asthma drug, had total U.S. sales of about $2.6 billion in the year ended March 31, according to IMS Health.
