Overwhelming - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “This is all pretty overwhelming, so much to deal with, and I really dont know where to start. I've started eating better, I'm very active and work a lot, so I get lots of exercise. It seems like such a huge amount to take in all at once. I went from being a unhealthView full resource at tudiabetes.org

Confused about Carbs = Energy vs. Carbs = Trouble with Control - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “I fear opening up a giant can o' worms here, but I am confused about the purpose of carbs in our diets. Living without type 1. so how does this work? - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “Here is the link to this lady's website. http://www.livewithouttype1.com/ It seems she claims to have cured her daughters type 1 diabetes with diet. I don't understand how she is managing this. I think a honeymoon period would explain some of it, but that should be over by now. A carb-less existence would help for a while. Those of you with more knowledge and experience please check it out and let me know what you think. Don't worry, I don't think that this would work for us as my 12 year old woView full resource at tudiabetes.org

seven point six for the curious - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “Another month, another drop - progress made, still progress to go. I think I may have shocked my GP and my diabetic nurse. They can take a bit more shocking I think. Even with restricted exercise (the injury is still healing very slowly, no pictures folks, sorry) the diet appears to be working well. The wife has noticed I'm getting thinner and if I shift the carb to plant matter ratio over time, this seems to agree with me. This month promises to be a challenge on a number of levels.
