Is this prediabetes? - TuDiabetes

I got a lab test back showing my fasting glucose as 101 mg/dl and HbA1c at 6.1. I did an online calculation for that and it shows an average bg of 139 mg/dl for that A1c level. All of the online resources are seeming to point to these lab results as indications of prediabetes. I really didn't think that I was at any risk for it. I guess that I will have it checked out further. Strange...
