CBS "Early Show" anchor Harry Smith underwent a colonoscopy on live television this morning in an effort to promote colon cancer awareness and prevention. The procedure was performed by Dr. Mark Pochapin and was overseen by "Today Show" anchor Katie Couric, who is a strong advocate for colorectal cancer prevention and who also broadcast her first colonoscopy on television.
