Zucchini-feta Pancakes Recipe

grouprecipes.com — “I've tweaked this from a Moosewood Cookbook Recipe. I'm not normally a huge fan of Zucchini but this recipe is top notch and I love it! The pancakes are light and airy and the food processor grates the zucchini in seconds so it's pretty easy too! I use 4 eggs but only one yolk.View full resource at grouprecipes.com

maryhartleyRDmy LinkedIn page.

In 2011, I returned to clinical practice after working in the Internet industry. My goal is to offer services that are above and beyond "normal" care. I do not maintain a physical office; instead, I visit patients and their families in their homes in Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill, a charming historic section of Brooklyn, New York City. For everyone else, and I use Skype, the telephone, and email to “visit” with my patients. The care is always high quality regardless of method.

When it comes to weight control, I am committed to a flexible, realistic and personal approach. I do not believe in fad diets or unnecessary diet pills. I do believe in making informed choices based on your values and preferences, with a clear understanding of the consequences, for better or for worse. Throughout my career, I have used a "Non-Diet Approach" to weight control, which emphasizes appetite regulation and learning to solve emotional problems without using food. For medical problems that require a therapeutic diet, I teach my patients how to choose specific foods in the correct amounts for their optimal health. I nutritious, well-prepared food and physical activity performed in the total health.

My patient services include dietary and nutritional status assessment, food and nutrition counseling and education, personalized diet and activity plans, and coordination of care with family or others at your request. To read about my services and to book an appointment, visit my website and blog at AskMaryRD.com

In addition to my clinical practice, I provide services as a brand ambassador, social marketing expert, speaker, writer, digital content adviser, and media personality.  I focus on special projects, products and services in the areas of food and nutrition and related IT." /> Mary Hartley, RD, MPH Nutritionist, Dietitian, and Active Health Library

Steel Cut Oats - You Wont Go Back To Instant Recipe

grouprecipes.com — “Steel cut oats or "groats" are the whole oat kernel, not steamed and pressed like rolled oats. They take longer to cook than normal oats, but the result is amazing. I just tried these out for the first time like 40 minutes ago... I CAN'T GO BACK TO QUICK COOKING OATS NOW!! Deliciously creamy and chewy and they have this nutty flavour that you dont get with your regular oats. Also called Irish oats or Scotch oats... Some supermarkets might have them, or try the bulk bins at the healthfoView full resource at grouprecipes.com

Everyday Red Lentil Dal Recipe

grouprecipes.com — “This simple dal is easy to make and incredibly delicious, and satisfies my perpetual simple-weeknight-vegetarian protein quest. The recipe is from my new favorite cookbook, "5 spices, 50 dishes" by Ruta Kahate, and originally called for yellow split peas (and hence had different cooking directions), but the version below reflects how I adapted it for red lentils, which were what I had on hand.View full resource at grouprecipes.com

Toffee Turtle Cake (gluten Free Option) Recipe

grouprecipes.com — “My daughter loves this cake so much she requested it for her 16th birthday when I offered to get her any cake she wanted. As always it was a HUGE hit. This is the gluten-free version but you can make it with regular cake mix also. If you do make the regular version the pan is a 9x13 and the sauces, cool whip & candy need to be doubled. Hope you enjoy!View full resource at grouprecipes.com
