Foam Roll Stretch Exercise - Dr Roy Settergren, Chiropractor

This is for those who sit working at a desk or computer all day, or those who are avid weightlifters.  All of the mentioned activities cause your shoulders to roll forward placing the muscles of your chest in a shortened state.  Over a period of time the chest muscles remain shortened placing excessive stress on the muscles of the mid back and neck.  To relieve this stress the muscles must be stretched to their normal length.  This exercise will begin this process very easily.  Dr Roy Settergren, chiropractor and owner of Midwest Sports and Spine Specialists.
