In an effort to make sure that kids don’t get too much radiation during medical tests, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration proposed guidelines for manufacturers of medical imaging devices to make new equipment that takes children’s safety into account. The agency is urging manufacturers to include instructions on how to safely use their devices in pediatric settings.
