FDA Rules: Artificial Dye Safe to Eat | Health in the News

An expert panel commissioned by the FDA ruled Thursday that artificial dyes do not cause hyperactivity in children. The debate over dyes has been raging since in the 1970s when Dr. Benjamin Feingold successfully treated some hyperactive children by eliminating foods with artificial dyes from their diets.
