Dronedarone vs amiodarone for atrial fibrillation

The finding, based on eight randomized trials, supports the view that dronedarone is less effective than amiodarone at preventing the arrhythmia's recurrence but doesn't have the older drug's serious toxicities, as suggested by the DIONYSOS trial.
