Depression Screening Abstract: 'National Depression Screening Day' October 8, 2009 Thursday, October 8, 2009 is National Depression Screening Day, a concept first introduced by The Screening for Mental Health, Inc. (SMH) in 1991, and observed as part of Mental Illness Awareness Week (Oct. 4-10).
