Diabetes with Addison Disease - TuDiabetes

I was recently diagnosed with Addison disease. Addison disease is an autoimmune disease in which the adrenal glands are no longer producing steroids. These steroids are critical in helping our bodies defend themselves when we get sick or hurt and even necessary for day-to-day functioning. My doctor tells me that I have an autoimmune condition that has affected my thyroid (Hypothyroidism), my pancreas (Diabetes Type1) and now my adrenals.
