Deal praises 'heart of health care' | The Augusta Chronicle

If Georgia is going to keep more of its doctors, the state needs to pursue more residency slots that provide additional training and often persuade physicians to go into practice near their training site, Gov. Nathan Deal said Thursday.Appearing at a community forum at University Hospital arranged by the Augusta legislative delegation and having just come from Georgia Health Sciences University's graduation, Deal praised Augusta's role in providing care and caregivers.
