Covenant brings graduation to patient | Lubbock Online | Lubbock Avalanche-Journal
Ciara Aranda missed her graduation ceremony. She was in the hospital, sick with a rare kind of lymphoma, undergoing breathing treatments and surgery. So Covenant Health System, where Ciara is a patient, decided to throw a personal graduation ceremony on Friday morning. Nurses and doctors gathered, as Richard Parks, Covenant, CEO, presented Ciara with an honorary diploma. "Thank you everybody," Ciara said, cap and tassel on her head. "That just made me feel real good."
