Contraceptive May Be Used as Cancer Fighter - ABC News

An intrauterine contraceptive device -- impregnated with the birth control drug levonorgestrel -- may successfully treat a precancerous condition known as endometrial hyperplasia, as well as early stage endometrial cancer, in young women while preserving their fertility, according to a small study.
