I developed neuropathy in my feet at age 19 and in my bladder at 21( I have to self cath because of it). I dealt with diabulemia and anorexia during my teen years because i thought insulin made me fat because i gain weight after diagonsis. Now looking back it was so stupid, but weight was a huge issue.
