A study from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia that compares the technical aspects and outcomes of 47 patients who had Type B aortic dissection with complications from malperfusion and ruptures, was presented today at the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Researchers concluded that endovascular techniques for ruptures and malperfusion must be customized for each case.
