Communities launch diabetes prevention programs

Children who are obese are significantly more likely to carry extra weight with them into adulthood. This dramatically increases their risk for developing type 2 diabetes. In order to fight this problem, the Tennessee Department of Health recently launched a new diabetes prevention program.
