Cold Stones Offer a Crossover Spa Treatment
As stone therapy has evolved during the 17 years of my involvement, I have watched many modalities benefit by the introduction of stones. Hot and cold stones bring an added dimension to many modalities and techniques. Anything you can do with your hands can be done with stones--with, perhaps, one exception: lymphatic drainage. The weight of the stones seems to inhibit the light touch needed to perform this technique.
