Children and Diabetes | The Poor Diabetic

It can be extremely difficult to manage diabetes, and it becomes even more so if the person handling the disease is a child. There are two main types of diabetes: type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. With type 1 diabetes, a person must inject insulin daily, whereas type 2 has to do more with lifestyle and diet changes. With both types of diabetes, a person will have to check their blood glucose levels.
