Certain Asthma Medications Discontinued - American Lung Association

The Food and Drug Administration is gradually removing seven metered-dose inhalers, used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, from the U.S. marketplace, because they contain ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons. Aerobid ® will be discontinued as of June 30, 2011.
