Canadian 'Miracle Mom' Thriving After Surgery to Cut Out Cancerous Midsection - ABC News

Janis Ollson, 34, of Canada received a life-saving surgery that cut her in two in order to remove cancerous bone tissue and fused her back together again, minus most of her pelvis, her left leg and part of her spine. Today she survives and thrives in her Manitoba home, proof that the first ever "pogo stick" rebuild that fused her healthy right leg directly to her spine is possible.
