I have osteoarthritis in both of my knees, and I'm currently going to an orthopedic doctor who gives me Synvisc shots every six months. ... They help relieve the pain, but the last time I had this shot, I had a terrible reaction to it. I couldn't walk for several days and ran a fever. I'm wondering if I should start going to an arthritis specialist so I can get his option on what I should be doing. I have had physical therapy with no results, prescription pills that I do not like
