A 21-year-old mother charged with child abuse is suspected of intentionally poisoning her infant daughter. Her 7-month-old child was diagnosed with at least nine different rare infections while in hospital. Doctors suspect the mother, Blanca Montano, has Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and intentionally poisoned her child to get attention.
