Context matters. Reality matters and changing reality especially matters to those who struggle with ADHD. ADHD is a symptom of when that pre-frontal cortex doesn't adjust effectively to varying realities, do different contexts with differing numbers of variables, less structure, and absent a stimulating or frightening focus. ADHD is not present in all contexts unless the patient is a child with unrelenting hyperactivity.
