Wellocities.com is a community for Canadians with diabetes or Canadians who have loved ones with diabetes. Wellocities.com works as a support group as well as giving users useful tools and information that can help them deal with diabetes. There is a feature called 'journey' which is what someone with diabetes embarks on. Living with an illness changes your life and you have to take new things into consideration. Someone living with diabetes has to worry about their blood sugar, medications, blood pressure, doctor's appointments, diet, exercise, and more. The journey section of Wellocities.com gives users tools that will help them note and keep tack of these specific things. Users can also share their journeys' with others to compare and contrast methods and to learn from each other.
