About meMy interest in health writing began when I was 40 and discovered I had a condition (lipedema) that very few other people had, and that was rarely diagnosed (I'd had it since I was 11 and never known it!). The Web had information my doctor didn't, and helped me connect with others who were dealing with the same condition I had.

Because I had built a career as a journalist and Web producer, I was well-equipped to begin blogging about this and other lymphatic conditions. I love doing research and pulling information together. So it's only natural that I was drawn to Health 2.0!

Later, I served as editor of OrganizedWisdom for a year, and am now back part-time while I attend graduate school.
