About meI have been a Certified Guide with OrganizedWisdom since April 2008. As of January 2010, I have hand-crafted over 3200 WisdomCards and WisdomStubs. I am also a member of the OrganizedWisdom Quality Assurance Team.

I reside in a small town in Vermont with my two children: 9 year old, Sierra and 2 year old, Tyler. We share our home with a dog (a German Shepard/lab mix) and two cats (a Siamese and a tabby). In my free time I enjoy researching my genealogy, creating handmade cards, and scrapbooking.

Expertise with health informationI spent three years working in the special education department of a school district where I handled student cases for a variety of mental and physical disabilities. I have also taken courses in Autism and how it relates to young children.

In my personal life, I have dealt with various health conditions, such as heart disease, dysthymia, HPV, and cervical cancer, within my family. I have spent a great deal of time researching these conditions in great detail.

Experience with Web research and contentI have been using search engines for personal and professional reasons for over 13 years. Through my experience, I have learned tricks to produce high quality searches in a timely manner. My experience with personal health-related searches, as well as my work for OrganizedWisdom, has enabled me to recognize which health web sites provide the best and most accurate information, while weeding out sites that produce spam or out-dated & inaccurate content.

How did you hear about OrganizedWisdom? Why do you want to join the Guide Program?I discovered the Guide program at OrganizedWisdom while researching work at home opportunities on a message board. The Guide program outlined everything I was seeking in a work at home job: interesting work, freedom to choose my own hours, and a good income.
