University Hospital starting hospice program | The Augusta Chronicle
chronicle.augusta.com — “Citing what officials said was a lack of non-for-profit hospice care in Augusta, University Hospital will be starting its own service.University Health Inc., one of the boards that oversees the health care system, voted Tuesday to approve a new corporation that will actually provide the program. A name has not yet been chosen and officials said it could take six months to develop the program and get the approvals.
