- Dr. Sturgill is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians, a Fellow in the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, and a past EMS Commissioner for the State of California. He chaired the State of California's Trauma Advisory Committee for several years.
