Joseph M. Curry, MD

This includes patients with cancers of tha larynx (voice box), oral cavity, nasal cavity and sinuses, and pharynx (throat: tonsils and base of tongue). In addition, we treat diseases of the salivary glands and surgical disorders of the thyroid.
Dr. Curry completed his medical school training at Georgetown University and his residency at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed a fellowship in advanced head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Miami.
The management of head and neck cancers often requires a multidisciplinary approach involving cancer and reconstructive surgeons and medical and radiation oncologists. We coordinate this care with our speech and swallowing specialists, nutritionists, cancer care coordinator and specialized nursing staff to optimize the care of our patients. As a team we strive to deliver effective, rapid, and coordinated care to our patients as they deal with the complex issues surrounding their health. -
