A study conducted by the University of Chicago Medical Center reveals some encouraging results on the spread of cancer. Focused radiation based therapy has proven to be extremely successful in controlling the spread of cancer in patients. The study looked at patients suffering from stage IV cancer that had tumors with diameters of over 10 cm.
