Hi LaTasha, Nice start on your wisdomcard! The one thing you need be careful of, is getting off topic. Arthritis is off topic; certainly in the top 5. If you search "Water on the knee" you will get many more sites; enough to fill a full wc. In the top 5; you should use Mayo Clinics site: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/water-on-the-knee/DS00662. Please check through your wc and make sure that each area is on topic.
Thanks, Tara

LaTasha, Please take some time to go over some of these formatting issues, it may also help to read through our resource guide again:
Since have already used this material, this one will need to be replaced. This is why it is so important to list the 'vias' ( this should have been formatted as Mayo Clinic (via CNN) Wikipedia: Since this is one of your top 5; it should be linked to the main section of the article, not 'prevention'. OhioHealth: Please look at this site. This is also the same article you used, written by Mayo Clinic. This doesnt help our readers- sending them the same information more than once. Please find another site. If you are strapped, you can use the Online Medical Network (via MDAdvice): Knee Synovitis With Effusion ("Water On The Knee") (This is the correct way to format this link), which you have under your 'what is' section.
University of Washington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine:
When you title your sections, please try to be more descriptive- we like to try to have a variety of titles rather than the same thing down a section ( such as Symptoms,Symptoms, etc.). The first link is not crediting the correct author. This site was written by A.D.A.M., so it should read: A.D.A.M. (via MyOsteoarthritisCentral). 2nd link: Knee1.com: Knee Condition should be Knee1.com: Water on the Knee Symptoms 3rd link should be: JointHealing: Knee Swelling Symptoms
3rd link should be A.D.A.M. (via Physiotherapy): Knee Pain Causes. Please always list the correct author.
Mayo Clinic should be 2 words and read: Mayo Clinic: Water on The Knee Treatment and Drugs RxList: Medications should say RxList: Joint Effusion Medications
EveryDayHealth: Alternative Approaches should be: EveryDayHealth: Alternative Approaches to Joint Pain 2nd link: Please add a icon, since they are selling a product Types: These are off topic; they would be fine if your wc was on knee injury or knee pain; but since your wc is specific to joint effusion; you may need to fill this with 'outcomes' rather than types.
Revolution Health is not written by healthnotes; please fix this to credit the correct author BigKneePain.com: Prevention this didnt have anything on how to prevent water on the knee; so can you find another? Wisdom: Please make sure these are on topic for Joint Effusion or Water on the knee...Please check each site here GroupHealth link is a dead link..can you fix? HealthBoards is also dead. For this site to work; you need to link directly to a post regarding your topic. Technorati: Please do not use a catalog style link for blogs. These are often off topic and filled with spam, or outdated. Please find individual blogs and link directly to them.
Healthwise Support Groups this is a broken link. Please fix this
WebMD is off topic. It is also not formatted correctly.
PubMed Central is written this way; also the link is dead. Please read our help section on how to properly create a PubMed Central link. JAMA: (this is the proper way to format this link): this is coming up with off topic content. Please try putting quotes around your search so that this will only come up with correct information.
Please add these in to your wisdomcard
Thanks :) Tara

LaTasha, We still have some areas that need to be edited: Top 5: Wikipedia link: Only title it this way if you are using it in a guide note. Please title this one, as you have done your other links. Mayo Clinic: Please make this 2 words; also please title it as discussed in the above note. Also, no FULL CAPS please in titles. NetWellness: Bakers Cyst is off topic. Please replace. If you note my first discussion you can move the link I mentioned into the top 5, if needed. Symptoms: A.D.A.M. (via MyOsteoarthritisCentral)l: Symptoms Please fix the typo in this lead in. Knee1.com: EDUCATION CENTER: Knee Conditions- Water on the Knee Please fix the title here; again, no caps; and please title this according to the section you are referencing.
HomeRemedies: Water on yhe Knee Natural Cures: How to gt rid of Water on the Knee? please fix the typos in your title.
eHealth Furom: Knee Effusion Please fix this typo as well. The Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA): Journal-Water on the Knee Please format this as simply JAMA:
CenterWatch: Your link titled Knee Joints is off topic; please use your topic to do this search, or water on the knee
Thanks, Tara | |
