Social psychologist and best selling author, Susan Newman is the author of 14 books in the relationship and parenting fields. Her research and books explore such areas as building strong family bonds and traditions, the keys to friendship, preventing drug use among children and teens, preventing stranger abduction and abuse, raising only children, grandparenting and interactions between adult children and their parents and in-laws, working smarter with colleagues and bosses, among others.

Dr. Newman has appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, 20/20, CNN, CNN Headline News and Showbiz Tonight, and MSNBC as well as many television and radio shows throughout the country including NPR’s Talk of the Nation, NBC Nightly News, ABC World News Tonight, CBS and FOX News discussing breaking news and social and parenting concerns.
