Controlling My Diabetes: Bad Insulin or Insulin Resistance - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “For about a month I have been having serious problems controlling my blood sugars. They go from normal in the morning, but them completely spikes up in the afternoon. I am checking my blood sugars four times a day. I take 30 units Lantus in the morning and then again at night. Looks like the honeymoon is over - TuDiabetes

tudiabetes.org — “Well, here lately, the BG has been higher on a regular basis, and the amount of insulin (Humalog) I've been using has been going up as well. Used to be that if the sliding scale called for six units, I could get by with three, and still might drop pretty quickly. Now, if it calls for six, I inject six, and even then, I don't get below 121 any time soon.
