1. BMI – a relationship to watch
BMI stands for Body Mass Index, and it’s a number that reflects the relationship between your height and weight. It’s a good place to start when looking at your overall health and health risk. Women with a BMI of 25 and higher are considered at risk for heart disease. Men 30 and higher are considered at risk. If your BMI is above the recommended range, visit a doctor to determine your risk factor and see what steps you need to take if you are at risk for heart disease.
