Dr. Scott Rennie is a graduate of the Des Moines University - College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in the top 6% of his class. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Western Washington University. He completed his medical training at the Tacoma Family Medicine Residency Program in Tacoma in 2006. He received a scholarship from the US. Government and worked for the Community Health Centers of Del Norte County, CA and Chelan County, WA before accepting a position at Harrison Medical Center Urgent Care in Port Orchard and Belfair, where he served as a staff physician.
Dr. Rennie is a member of the Washington Osteopathic Medical Association, and American Academy of Private Physicians. He values providing personalized, high quality and convenient care to the people of the greater Seattle area. His special interests include house-calls, urgent care, preventative medicine, pediatrics, care of the aging and geriatric populations, chronic disease management. Dr. Rennie feels that building relationships that empower patients to take charge of their health is the most important part of his work, and has a particular interest in studying and working on communications between health care providers and their patients.
