- Sarah Wilcox is an experienced healthcare and product marketer with expertise in creating innovative products based on consumer insights. She leverages her broad, deep knowledge of healthcare consumerism to identify marketplace gaps and develop products and services that capitalize on these opportunities. After launching her career in the non-profit health sector, Sarah’s interests were deeply rooted in marrying the business of healthcare with social consciousness. She co-founded My Health and Money in order to show patients how to reduce their out-of-pocket costs, learn how to manage both their care and financial well-being, and create a consumer movement with influence and action.
Prior to launching My Health and Money LLC, Sarah was Chief Marketing Officer at Carepages.com, a Waterfront Media Company, where she was responsible for all aspects of marketing and product development, and recently guided the company through a product and brand re-launch. She also served as Executive Vice President of Draftfcb Consumer Health where she built the business for the Chicago office. She led an integrated team of healthcare and consumer marketers in creating award-winning programs for GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi-Aventis, Kaiser Permanente and health-related consumer packaged goods clients. Sarah also was the marketing leader for Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, worked for the Commissioner of Health and Hospitals in Boston and was a management consultant for healthcare start-ups and medical device companies for most of the 1990’s.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Buffalo in English Literature and Journalism, and holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She is married, the mother of two young children, and lives with her family in Chicago.
