Dr. Russell Faust received his PhD in Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Washington, his MD (and residency in Otolaryngology) at the University of Minnesota, and completed his specialty fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins University. He currently holds faculty appointments at Wayne State University, and Ohio State University, and is active in translational research at Ohio State University.
Dr. Faust is double-boarded by: the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, and the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.
Dr. Faust specializes in integrative pediatric ENT care, especially in the area of pediatric rhinitis and sinusitis. His area of surgical expertise is in minimally-invasive surgery for children, including endoscopic skull base surgery, and even robotic surgery.
His research interests match his clinical interests, and he has ongoing clinical trials to define the bacterial species that are responsible for chronic infections of the upper airway, including rhinitis, sinusitis, and tonsillitis. -
