Helen Hilts, MD
Dr. Hilts is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician serving Scottsdale and Paradise Valley with more than 20 years of experience in both public and private practice. During her career, she’s done it all–from treating shingles to delivering babies to caring for patients with gunshot wounds. As a diabetic herself, she has a special interest in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with diabetes.
Born in San Francisco, Helen grew up in Tucson, Arizona. While in high school, she played string bass with the Tucson Symphony. She earned her B.S. degree in Biology at Stanford University and received her M.D. degree in 1983 from the University of Arizona.
Fluent in Spanish, Helen is also a volunteer physician and guest lecturer at regional health fairs and other community events.
