- Paul R. Ehrmann, DO, is founder, owner and medical director of Family Health Care Center in Royal Oak, Mich. He also serves as a clinical associate professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) in East Lansing.
After years of volunteering at his local school district and seeing firsthand the adverse effects of childhood obesity, Dr. Ehrmann founded Children’s Health Initiative Program, a grassroots volunteer community-based effort to encourage families to positively modify their lifestyle in order to eat healthier and to stay fit. He also authored Generation XL The Childhood Obesity Pandemic: A Community Based Solution, based on the program.
